The EUINEC strategy is based on three pillars:
-
Information and cooperation platform.
-
Capacity building.
-
Awareness raising actions.
The online portal, being an efficient and effective tool to reach a critical mass allowing for information sharing and bringing together stakeholders from both regions, will be the scene to exchange ideas, transfer knowledge and build networks and to further facilitate policy cooperation.
The capacity building activities are implemented via a two-fold approach: e-training, available for free to everyone at the platform addressing both theoretical and practical issues of FP7 participation in an efficient way, will allow the project to reach a critical mass in a cost efficient way; practical workshops will be held throughout India offering umbrella organisations and interest groups skills and tools to transfer to potential applicants in India, i.e. a training of trainers approach.
The awareness raising activities are mainly carried under the wings of the EU-India Research Co-op via diverse information activities such as info days to be arranged in conjunction with the workshops "Training of Trainers", a simultaneously EU-India Info day (Co-op Day), and a final EU-India Co-op symposium in Brussels.
